15 Things To Do Wiith old Blue Jeans
I hate to see old clothes wasted , so if I have old blue jeans that can’t be worn anymore , by me or any one else I like to salvage what I can from them . One idea is to make blue jean quilts. Here are a couple of pictures of quilts that I have made so far.
I was looking at the favecrafts website ( http://www.favecrafts.com/Green-Crafting/14-Things-to-Do-with-Old-Jeans# )
I really like some of the 14 different ideas that they share here:
1. To reduce your paper consumption AND protect your hands, make a coffee cup cozy from two layers of denim. Just measure, cut and sew. Use rick rack or contrasting fabric at the edge for a cute touch.
(I think this is a great idea, those cups from Tim Horton’s are so hot and I don’t always have my travel mug with me. This denim cup holder can be stored in a ladies purse or in the glove compartment of your vehicle.)
2. Follow our step-by-step tutorial for turning old jeans into handy (har har har) pot holders.
3. Cover a bulletin board with the denim if you can't stand the sight of cork anymore.
4. Glue a magnet onto the back of jean pockets for a handy place to stash coupons on your fridge.
The rest have pictures so be sure to check out this website for the rest of the ideas.
