Where Heat Is Most Needed At Home
There is an increasingly strong theory that men evolved from a branch of primates that lived in what is now central Africa and if that is the case then why did they wander off to live in places like the North Pole?

Not only did they wander to some of the coldest places on Earth but over many tens of thousands of years they lost nearly all their body hair and any protection from the cold that it may have provided.
To keep warm we wear clothes and we are so used to wearing clothes that it is actually criminal to not wear them in public. We have become the only creatures on Earth to cover up what other animals are proud to show off!
The bathroom is one place we strip naked for a bath or a shower and is therefore the one room that should be kept warm at all times.
Britain is en-route to the North Pole and may not be as cold as that forsaken place is but it still has more cold and wet than warm months in the year.
Apart from a few nutters like obsessive athletes and young army recruits, the majority prefer to step into a warm bathroom in the morning and evening for a shower or bath.
Stepping out of a bath into cold air almost defeats the object of the exercise. Heating the bathroom may be managed with just electric towel radiators left on day and night but only if the room is a small one.
Usually it is better to have a full wall mounted flat radiator thermostatically controlled and leave the towel radiator to do what it is designed to do and that is keep the towels warm.
When the weather is not so bad and the outside temperatures spring or summer like then it may be possible to turn off the whole central heating system in the house.
It is still good to keep the towel radiator on as this not only keeps the towels warm but if left on all the time with a small window open will help prevent condensation and the inevitable mould that this can result in.
Over recent years there has been a transformation in all radiator design. This has probably been the influence of designers working for modern hotels and offices. Nobody would have believed that the day would come when we can use the two words of designer and radiator together but if you have not seen a recent radiator catalogue then you really should.
Electric radiators for the bathroom are included in this. Some are quite stunning and in box shape manage to keep the whole radiator warm and not just the side resting on the heat source surface.
Additionally, there are radiators designed for heating towels and bathroom that have a dual source of energy in both gas and electricity. This means towels keep warm when the central heating system is switched off for the Great British mythical summer.
