Monet on Display at the Columbus Museum of Art
We visited the Columbus Museum of Art today. I found some of my favorite painters--and of course others I haven't heard of. One of the more famous artists on display is Claude Monet (1840-1926). Monet is a French Painter--known for his impressionistic paintings of nature. The paintings below are all of Monet's works. These are all photographs taken at the museum today. Flash photography was not allowed--either was a tripod--so I did the best I could. I hope you are able to enjoy some of his paintings through my little camera lens.
The Church of Varengeville by Claude Monet, 1882
Seascape at Pourville by Claude Monet, 1882
Basket of Grapes by Claude Monet, 1883
View of Bennecourt by Claude Monet, 1887
The Mediterranean (Cap d'Antibes) by Claude Monet, 1888
If you ever get a chance to come to Columbus, Ohio, treat yourself to the Columbus Museum of Art and check out the Monet's on display.
