RedGage Update 2/22/2010
We would like to take a moment to remind the community about our content rules. Due to the fact that money is involved, we take any copyright laws extremely seriously. Unlike other websites, you can not post photos, blogs, documents, or videos that belongs to another person. Please make sure that all of the content that you post on RedGage is original content . If you want to share something that you did not create, you can always upload a link to that page under the link category. Links do not violate these terms, because the nature of the link will lead traffic back to the original creator.
Please remove any content that is not your own, or a RedGage Moderator will be forced to manually remove it. Any users that continue to upload stolen content, after they have been warned or flagged, will be removed from the community. If you are wondering what you should do if you see any content that is stolen, please read our previous tutorial on Flagging Tutorial (http://www.redgage.com/blogs/RGHelp/copyright-reminder.html ).

Online writing should be treated with the same plagiarism standards that one would use professionally. Stealing text from a website is considered the same as plagiarizing a paper for school or a publication for work. If you are referencing information or a quote, please use the same respect that you would use with a bibliography. Put any copied text in quotation marks and reference the author or the original website. Create direct a link to the original user for any images in your blogs that are not your own. The RedGage Team continues to be impressed with the creative work that is being added to the website.
These regulations are to keep both parties safe. Recently, websites or online publications have been suing bloggers for stealing content. In order to make sure that we avoid any complications, we are going to limit any quotes or copied text to three lines (or 100 words). After 100 words, we will consider the work to be 'not in the RedGager's own words' and we will have to remove it from the website.
If you have any questions about ownership, please contact RGHelp at support(at)redgage(dot)com. We want to keep the integrity of the website and appreciate those of you that help us keep this a place for original work. Thank you for understanding!
