Thanksgiving Feast/Seasonal poetry
November knocks at the door
Autumn winds are no more
Frost upon the windowpanes
Winter winds spin the weathervane
Time to plan a Thanksgiving feast
For family and friends to gather and eat
A southern Thanksgiving just can't be beat
Turkey and dressing and Mom's baked ham
Cranberry sauce and sweet baked yams
Sweet desserts and pumpkin spice fill the air
Pack some go boxes and plan to share
Don't forget the Thanksgiving prayer
Give thanks to God because He is the One
Who brings families together for so much fun
