This morning, I am coming down the highway after being stuck in traffic for twenty minutes. "Finally! Some open road!" I thought. I cruise the highway and come to the second of three roundabouts (a roundabout, according to Wikipedia, is a type of circular intersection in which traffic flows in one direction around a central island) I have to go through to get to work. I flow through that smoothly and continue on down the highway. I am in the left lane but switched over to the right because there is a large slow moving truck in front of me. I decide to stay on the righ since I have to use the right lane transitioning into the third roundabout that I can see in the distance.
So I have just passed the slow moving truck on my left. I look in my rear view and left mirrors and see another car speeding towards me. I think to myself "The speed that car's doing, he won't be able to brake fast enough to avoid hitting me or the truck". But I relax and put some space between me and the truck. The second car squeezes between me and the truck, almost hitting me in the front left side. But I waited until he got almost next to me and I drift slightly to the right, closer to the concrete barrier to avoid him hitting me. As he floats towards the roundabout he continues to drive in the middle of the two lanes. The first thought I have is "What an a$$h@le! Just like that there would have been a serious wreckage all because of his stupidity and impatience!"
