Doesn't Stefan look great for his age? Good thing he didn't have cake. That would be one big ass cake. The place would burn down and imagine trying to blow out the candles. Lexie comes to visit her bestest friend Stefan for his birthday. I do wonder why just the one day. Damn I liked her so it was a bummer when Damon's diabolical master plan involved setting Lexie up so she ends up getting staked by Damon. Talk about a sucky birthday. But that means he can't just go around now killing all willy nilly with the vampire problem supposedly taken care of.I do have to wonder about the Sheriff. It never occurred to her to question why the girl survived so she could ID the vamp. She's just bedazzled by the hotness of Damon. I know I wouldn't be able to think around him. I might be able to make some sounds but nothing coherent and of course there's the chance of passing out. Also I'd say he was afraid of Lexie since she was stronger and had a few centuries on him. He got staked too but it isn't the first and I'm guessing it won't be the last time.Damon gets Caroline to throw a party at the Grill. He wants the crystal back but it seems to protect itself by shocking anyone that tries to take it from Bonnie. I wonder why Bonnie just didn't tell Caroline that the necklace is a family heirloom since that would be better than saying witch's talisman. While there he sneaks out to snack on the guy leaving behind a witness and revealing the Sheriff to be stupid. Damon gave her vervain so she's clueless about what's really going on.Damon was mean to Caroline so she didn't have a good night. She got shocked by Bonnie's necklace which led to her thinking of polyester. She ends up getting drunk. Lucky for her Matt takes her home and he ends up staying with her which was very sweet. I doubt the Sheriff will even notice that Matt spent the night.Elena and Jenna do some wallowing but Jeremy was trying to catch up on his homework which made Elena wonder about what Damon did to him. Well if he took the suffering away Jeremy wouldn't be doing drugs or drinking since he was probably doing that to mask the pain. Of course since this is Damon you have to wonder what he said with no one else around but I don't think he did anything.Bonnie comes over to see Elena who decided to stay in bed. She decides to reveal her powers to Elena and about being a witch. Okay I'll admit that I would have loved to hear Bonnie say druid but I do love this Bonnie. She was able to make the feathers dance around the room so of course Elena believed her. Of course it made her feel guilty because she couldn't tell her about Stefan being a vampire but she did mention the breaking up part.I do wonder about the human Lexie mentioned that was the love of her life. I did notice the use of the was was. It was smart of her to end up with a blood guy because there's no way I'm going to attempt that word and hey the stupid spell check won't correct it for him that supplied her with blood. So booze helps with the craving. I'll admit that it was very distracting when naked Stefan was mentioned. Hmm I wonder if he was naked and drunk on the torch of the Statue Of Liberty.
