I wasn't disappointed because I got shirtless Salvatore in the past and present. Someone really needs to do something about the Winchesters because it isn't right to be sleeping fully clothed. I was amused when the three of them were on the bed just chatting. Damon has some of the best lines doesn't he? Elena didn't let that stop her from getting back to more important matters with Stefan after Damon left.It went back and forth from the past to the present. It was like Sunset Beach night since Kelly was Rae on it and Jason George who happened to be on Grey's Anatomy at the same time was of course adorable Michael on Sunset Beach. Well that explains Anna wanting the journal because her mother is Pearl who just so happens to be one of the vampires trapped. That's kind of creepy to turn your own kid like that. Pearl mentioned Emily so she was the one that made it possible for vampires to walk around but I didn't actually see the rings on the boys who had to have been turned when Daddy Salvatore was talking about hunting down and killing the vampires. Stefan wasn't wearing the ring so how was he in the daylight unless he hadn't been killed yet but had the blood? Maybe they'll have more flashbacks with the brothers killing each other which would finish the transformation because the blood would just pass unless you died before it got our of your system which means you wouldn't get turned like Stefan letting Bonnie have some of his blood and being fine. Well they reveal the reason that Damon hates Stefan but the guy was trying to help since it isn't like he did something really bad although I guess Katherine being trapped would make a guy pretty cranky wanting to make his brother suffer.Was anyone else sort of reminded of William a little bit when Elena showed Damon how she hunts? He was kind of like a cooler William if that makes any sense at all. Oh Daddy why did you have to interrupt me enjoying shirtless time? It turns out that Dad spiked Stefan's drink because of the talk he had with Stefan about not all vampires being bad. She bit him which led to her getting captured and of course Jonathan had the compass which busted Pearl who was charming Jonathan. So she was captured but Anna was able to escape because of Emily. She was still a bit creepy but I guess a little less creepy.Sadly it was a Bonnie light episode but she did go out with Ben. I would have liked to see Metallica Karaoke. I'm sure Dean would enjoy it. It doesn't sound like he pulled it off. I think it depends on the song but it might be doable. But  by the time she figured out that something was wrong it was too late because she got grabbed by Ben when she tried to go off to the bathroom and I'm thinking to call help while sneaking out. I'm guessing they want to use her to do the ritual to release the vampires since she is a witch and related to Emily. And who knows why they want Elena? Could they have Katherine possess Elena? Well Emily was able to do it.I do agree with Jenna because Damon is ridiculously hot. Of course she has no idea about him being a vampire. And it turns out that both brothers cook since he was cooking dinner.Oh yes it was just a fun family night with dinner and video games. I wonder who would win playing a video game Spike or Damon. Do I smell plot bunny brewing? Who knows I might end up adding something since my head is feeling a bit better and maybe that will lead to me being in a writing mood which I haven't been in much lately except for babbling of course. I guess I can always manage to pull that off somehow.I do wonder about Alaric and that ring of his. Of course he isn't a vampire although I did suspect that at first but that went out the window when he took it off to work out and was in daylight without it. And if he was a vampire he wouldn't have needed to hold vervain while Damon talked to him. I do wonder if he's Elena's father. Sure he might not be but there is a chance that he is. Who knows how long he was with Isabella. Isabelle? Which one? I think Isabella but that might be because I was talking about Isabella Black not too long ago. He photocopied the journal so Stefan was able to get the copy while Anna was able to get the original. Stefan figured out that Dad was hiding the grimoire and he took it to the grave which means there's some digging porn in store. Yeah it isn't every day you dig up the corpse of your vampire boyfriend's father. They found the book but I have to wonder why the thing wasn't just burned. Maybe it can't be after all the Book Of Shadows on Charmed was protected so maybe this one is too.Of course I was thinking that Damon would end up showing up soon and he did because he got his hands on the journal and came to the same conclusion that Stefan did. So he grabs Elena and threatens to kill her so Stefan hands over the book. Oh crap there's going to be a lot of vampires loose if they pull this off but there's still the matter of a witch. Don't you regret killing Bree? I know I'm bummed about that since I loved seeing Gina but he has a knack for killing so it wasn't really unexpected. They end up going back to Elena's place and while Stefan's getting her some aspirin Anna who had been invited in by Jeremy takes her. Looks like Jenna is just as taken with the brothers as I am.
