Haunted
Oh Vicki I do feel bad for you. In the bitch I could care less about this character but that's because she was so minor that I didn't even give her a thought. So now Vicki's a full on vampire and Stefan is trying to help her through it. Since she doesn't have a ring she's stuck inside all day long. Damon decides to take her out when it's finally night but she runs off. Oops I guess that wasn't such a good idea to show her how speedy vamps can be although she did seem to like whatever type of blood Stefan gave her. I wonder if he adds anything to it like Spike did or Cordy for that matter since there was that one time she added cinnamon to Angel's blood.
She ends up going home but realizes that she can't get in without an invite. Poor Matt who has been worried tells her to get in so she's able to go inside. She ends up leaving again. At least she has a little control because she didn't drain her brother although she did come close with Jeremy. She did try Tyler who amazingly wasn't such an ass but I'm sure that was just a fluke but the boys caught her. I wonder what would have happened if she did drink him. Would he taste different? Of course I have no idea if he'll be a well something that you'd know about if you read the books.
Caroline gets costumes for herself and Bonnie. She gives her the amber crystal necklace to Bonnie which she wears with the outfit. She just thought it was a piece of junk but nope it certainly isn't. It was great that Bonnie was in this episode. Now I loved the last one but it did suck that she wasn't in it. Damon tried to get the necklace back but it wouldn't let him. She went to her Grams to find out what was going on. It turns out that the necklace belonged to her great, great, great whatever grandmother who is a dead ringer for her. They escaped Salem and came to Mystic Falls in I think she said 1692 which is long before the Salvatore hottie vamps were around. I wonder when they came to Mystic Falls from Italy. I don't think that's been mentioned about how long they've been there.
Elena is in quite the pickle because she can't tell Jeremy about Vicki being a vampire. She gets him to go to the Halloween party but unknown to her Vicki is on the loose. She dresses up in last year's Halloween costume and Matt did the same since he was a doctor while she was a nurse. Aw how cute. I'm just glad that I'm liking Matt now since I love the Matt in the books and didn't want to hate Matt since he's pretty awesome in the books. Vicki makes a fuss when Stefan catches her which leads to Matt telling Stefan to leave her alone not realizing that the guy is trying to help her.
Stefan goes off to find her and Elena searches for Jeremy. Stefan puts on his bat ears to listen for them. Vicki ends up finding Jeremy and it looks like she wants to turn him but that gets stopped. Elena ends up getting thrown and lands on something so she gets all cut up. Jeremy of course has no idea what's going on. And Vicki decides she wants to have a little Elena snack. That was funny when she said that line about being dead and having to pee which turned out to be a false alarm. Stefan ends up running a piece of wood through her. It was a good thing it was around and Elena used it herself. So poor Vicki's dead this time and poor Jeremy's all shredded about it.
Hello I was quite surprised when Damon offered to use compulsion on Jeremy so he'd forget since Stefan wasn't strong enough to do it. That was actually sweet of him. Wow an episode where Damon didn't kill anyone. He did run into I think she's Vicki and Matt's mom where he discovered that she was wearing vervain and had been trying to get in touch with Zack because she wanted some vervain. It turns out that they don't know about the rings so the brothers are in the clear. She was totally flirting with Damon but who could blame her since he's just so darn hot. Elena wanted to forget too but she knew she couldn't and it looks like she's going to keep wearing the necklace since it protects her. I wonder what happened to the vervain. It's not like Damon could destroy it since it weakens him.
