What a relief the power didn't go out so I was able to watch but there were some tense moments when it looked like something was going to happen with the TV. Why can't they just fix that stupid thing already? I don't like it when I'm trying to watch something only to have the picture go still which it did or the other crazy things. Luckily that only happened during the commercials so I'm pretty sure I got everything but of course I'll be double checking that because I just loved this episode. My favorite vampire brothers didn't disappoint either since they were both shirtless.I'd send them to talk to the Winchesters if I wasn't afraid the Winchesters would try to kill them. That will not be tolerated boys. Also once again someone broke the cardinal rule of not hurting the hottie. Bad Logan shooting my boy Stefan with your stupid wooden bullet. That wasn't very nice. I kind of suspected that the pocket watch would be some kind of vamp detector and that's what it was. They pulled it apart and stuck something in so it was like a compass that tracked down vamps. I guess it works on vamps who are in transition too because Logan was headed for Vicki and only later Stefan showed up. I was hoping Vicki would eat him. Is that so wrong?I thought Vicki was dead for sure after Damon snacked on her but nope she survived. I swear this girl has nine lives. She wasn't in the book much so I didn't really give a toss about her but I'm kind of feeling sorry for the poor girl. It can't be easy having the perfect brother while you're the perpetual screw up. I also seem to have her self esteem problem too since she doesn't have any either. Damon ends up taking her back to the boarding house and torches the other bodies. Um why not just stick them in the crypt. Would anyone really notice another dead body if he put them in with some other dead people. I don't think anyone would complain but no he left them out where they could be found and announce even further to the vampire hunters that yes there are vampires in Mystic Falls.Just as Stefan was rushing out to stake his brother after escaping from the basement he runs into Elena. The poor girl is wigged out because she was able to piece together the truth but of course at the same time she has to think she's crazy. So she asks him what he is. He decides to tell her and asks her to give him just one day. Luckily Damon is trapped inside because Stefan hid his ring. He tells her about Katherine and when he was turned which was in 1864 so they are a few centuries younger and had already come to America at this point instead of being in Italy. And damn that was some porny goodness with the boys wearing suspenders and looking very hot not to mention the added soldier porn too.The brothers were really close until Katherine came one day. I wonder if they'll explain why she came since they just had her show up one day. She ends up getting involved with both of them and I'm guessing she's already a vampire at this point which differs a bit from the book but I'm not one of these girls or I guess guys might do it too that wigs out over changes. Guess what that's always going to happen and you just might end up liking the newer version better so I say just enjoy both if you enjoy the show or if you don't leave those of us who do enjoy it alone. It is pretty hard to choose between these guys. So she wanted the three of them to be together forever in this happy little threesome and since she used compulsion she had them right where she wanted them. I'm guessing more flashbacks are to come since they don't explain Katherine's death if she actually died.Damon's with Vicki who he brought with him since she was alive. I guess he was so hungry he didn't realize she wasn't dead too. He did eat all of her friends. He's trapped inside and after telling her not to bleed on the couch he decides to give her some of his blood. When she's up and walking around she thinks he gave her a drug so she asks for another hit but he does tell her that he did give her blood and that she liked it. Of course I'm all distracted since he has his shirt open. Yes more porn commences with him dancing around. I really enjoyed that and oh yeah Vicki was dancing too in her underwear but I wasn't really paying attention to that since I was fixated on Damon. He seemed to be enjoying himself until he found that picture of Katherine. Still stings after all this time.They find the bodies at the cemetery which is when the band of Vampire Hunters because I refuse to call them Scoobies get together. They go out hunting and Logan is given the vamp detector thingie which leads him to Vicki and Stefan in the cemetery. I'm not sure if I missed a part which is possible but I think I might have because I didn't see Vicki eat Logan although it was implied when Stefan came back to Elena all bloody and said he couldn't stop her. Of course he couldn't since he doesn't drink human blood. Damon of course said all of the deaths are on Stefan's head because he took his ring. Um why not have a backup just in case and what about Vicki? Is she going to get a ring or will she be forced to stay inside during the day and only come out at night? I'm thinking that might be noticed at some point but at least she was able to push Jeremy away before she could snack on him.
