I'd have to go back to watch it again but I'm pretty sure I didn't see a shirtless Damon but it helps that there was a shirtless Stefan. See Winchesters you can be shirtless when you get up in the morning so pay attention to your new neighbors. It amused me that they had the same outfit on when Elena met Damon. I'm talking about Damon and Stefan wearing the same thing not Elena and Stefan which could have been amusing depending on what she was wearing. Okay I'm going to end the confusion at least for this paragraph.Damon is one hungry vampire and he seems to like couples. There was a couple camping out because of the comet coming and Damon just couldn't resist. The girl was right about rain but she had no idea that the rain would turn out to be her boyfriend up a tree dripping blood. And that was funny when Damon just swooped down on her. Bad Damon bad but you're so hot that I think I'll let it slide after all bad can be sexy just think of Spike who I love and he wasn't always such an upstanding guy.Stefan goes to the hospital to do his mind whammy thing on her because she mentioned the V word which isn't good. It seemed to be working but not quite since he'd need to be stronger. She got out of the hospital and can I say I have no clue what she sees in Tyler. The guy didn't even check on her and I'm still wondering if they'll have him be a werewolf. The asshole part is nailed because I hate him in the book too. Yes I think I'm sort of getting used to the name changes which are mostly last names although Gilbert and Salvatore managed to make it through. Matt saw him and got suspicious. He's going to be trouble and considering how he feels about Elena he just might cause some trouble for Stefan.Okay it probably isn't a good idea to go into the room where people are giving blood. He almost list it but he managed to get out without having to explain himself although Matt did run into him later. It might help that Stefan's the one that found Vicki. Damon decided to torment his brother a bit. Yes he was tempted when Damon ripped Vicki's bandage off her neck. It turns out that the mind whammy wasn't that good because Damon with a little nudging was able to get her to remember being attacked by Damon but he turned it around and said Stefan was the one that did it. Ultimately he fixed it so she wouldn't remember and it helped that she was already on something so she just thought it was some weird trip.Bonnie wasn't on very much but she was talking about Grams again. I'm looking forward to seeing Grams since I'm thinking this will be an interesting character and I like the actress they got for the role although she's a bit young to be a Grams. I don't really think Jasmine Guy when the word Grams is thrown out there. She did get a flash or something from Stefan when she gave him Elena's cell number and email address. I wonder what she saw. She has to know that this guy isn't like other guys but she does know he has a hot back and front. I wonder when she'll meet Damon. Caroline finally came face to face with Damon although he did tease her a bit. It looks like he decided to have a snack so either she's dead or maybe he'll do the mind wipe on her. It's such a shame they didn't show him shirtless. Okay I'm fixated on that but come on consider the one I want to see shirtless. Come on you know you agree with me about wanting to see him shirtless?It wasn't looking good for Elena and Stefan but they did end up talking and they kissed. They are just too adorable for words. I'm glad that this couple does work as well as it does in the book and of course there was sparkage with Damon. Of course he's going to be trouble when these two get together. They even told each other what they'd be writing in their diaries. Hmm I wonder if Damon has one. Now what would he say. Hmm do I smell a potential plot bunny? Maybe I'll do something weird if my brain comes up with something and I attempt something that might appear to be writing but who knows if it actually qualifies.Oh Jenna is fun and I agree with her about Tanner he's a total Asshat. He lectured her about what a crappy job she was doing looking out for her niece and nephew. He seems to think they should be over their parents death. Oh sure that's about as helpful as saying buck up. Yes she's in over her head but it's not like she's that much older than they are so this is new territory for her to be the parental figure. She did try with Jeremy about the drugs but it kind of backfired on her when she mentioned smoking pot. Maybe they could sic Tanner on him but I'm thinking that won't work either since he's probably going to self destruct although it looks like Elena might be able to set him straight.
