I just love this show more and more. I won't even complain too much about the lack of shirtless hottie in it since there's torture porn complete with a shirtless hottie next week to look forward to. Yes my trip to Special Hell is assured with that said. I can't say I'm surprised that Kelly ends up partying with Damon but Jenna you bad girl you. Your ass got really lucky.Matt sets up an interview for Kelly at the Grill to be the bartender. Well the last guy got turned into a vampire and ended up getting flamed by Stefan so of course he didn't come back to work. But the person didn't show up which isn't a surprise since Kelly slept with the chick's boyfriend or something. Jenna who had just shown Pearl and Anna a building that belonged to her brother-in-law came in for a drink and it turns out that she's buddy buddy with Kelly. It's just a good thing she was wearing the vervain because she would have been eaten by Frederick.Elena wanted to have some fun without thinking about her vampire mother and all the other weirdness. So a double date gets suggested and Bonnie's still away so it was Matt and Caroline which led to some awkwardness. I'm sure Caroline was feeling very much like Anya when she was around Xander and Willow since they'd know each other as she put it since they were squalling infants. Well that's what happens when two best friends have kids so cheer up Carline the guy does like you.Have I mentioned how I hate Frederick? No well I am now. He's a big trouble maker and Pearl's trying to make everyone get along. I'm still puzzled about how they all got out of the tomb. I still think it might have something to do with Damon throwing blood at the wall that caused the spell to go all wonky. Well Pearl is a badass and I'm going to go on a limb here and say that I think she might be the one that sired Katherine. I'm just guessing since it looks pretty much like there won't be a Klaus around who turned her in the books. I just don't like her gouging Damon's eyes out but unlike Xander he healed from that.Fredrick didn't want to stay put so he went out with what's her name and ended up at the Grill. Yep this place is like the Bronze since everyone ends up there. He sees Elena and thinks she's Katherine of course they do look alike and are related so it's an honest mistake. I do wonder when Katherine will finally turn up. I'm thinking she probably will after all Pearl is her BFF. See I know some text speak although I tend not to use it because frankly that shit tends to confuse the hell out of me. I'd rather type it out since that doesn't require any actual thought while I'm trying to figure out what the first letter of each word is.Stefan has a car. I guess he never dabbled at being a mechanic. You would have thought he'd know something about cars since he's been around since before they were invented but no. So it was a little male bonding between Stefan and Matt who got the car running again. Hmm what about Damon? I wonder if he has a car. After leaving the Grill they went back to the boarding house where Caroline had a deja vu moment. Yes sweetie you were there when Damon lured you in to release him from the room that Stefan locked him up in. He let Matt take the car for a drive so the two were able to talk and then make out a bit. See Caroline he does like you and forget his mom. She has some weird grudge against your mom for whatever reason. The important thing is how he feels not her.After the drive they go back inside where they find Kelly and Damon all hot and heavy. Sadly he didn't take his shirt off. I object to that but I guess that is pretty freaky to walk in to see your Mom kissing a guy that should be half her age but is actually a lot older even when she's a hottie like Kelly is. Come on you know she looks fabulous. What a change from the first time I saw Melinda when she played Faith on Days. She was very innocent but from there she was crazy ass Valasca and here she is the sex kitten doing the same vampire her daughter did. At least she survived.I'm wondering if Jeremy remembers something since he was able to figure out that Anna was a vampire. The real test was when he was making something to eat where he thought it would be a good idea to cut his hand. I think Anna really likes him and instead of eating him she took off. Shortly after Jenna came home. She was drunk and narrowly missed becoming a meal for Frederick who didn't because of the vervain. He did at least break the heel off her shoe so she could walk in them when the other one  broke. See heels are evil. And hello to the shocker when he asked Anna to turn him. Elena took Caroline home and had promised to call Stefan to tell him she was safe at home. Before that happened Frederick and his little pal whose name I don't know decided to come busting through the windows. See that's why you need a human around otherwise you'll have those wacky vampires showing up at any time since there's nothing keeping them out. I wonder if Damon regrets killing his nephew now. I'm just not sure how they were related although Zack did say Uncle Stefan but I thought they had a sister and not a brother. Who knows maybe they do have a brother that we haven't found out since that would make the Uncle part accurate I think. This would be one of those times when the thinking would just make my head hurt. The chick got staked but Frederick got away after all he'll be the one doing the torturing next week. Am I the only one that kind of got excited about that? Well he's going to be chained and shirtless? Makes me think of Angel when he was tortured. Don't tell me you didn't enjoy that. Hey a hot guy shirtless is always welcome even if he's being tortured. The seat on the train to Special Hell is assured for me isn't it?
