BLACKWOODS CAMPGROUND - Acadia National Park
Blackwoods campground is one of three campgrounds run by the U.S. National Park Service. The campground is located along route 3, in the village of Otter Creek. In season, the campground is open from May 1st through Oct. 31st, and all sites are by reservation only. Sites are $20 per night. There are 306 sites, no hook ups or utilities, there are wall outlets in the restrooms for charging small devices like cell phones. There is free firewood, when available, and Blackwoods campground is serviced by the free Island Explorer Bus system.

SEAWALL CAMPGROUND - Acadia National Park . Seawall campground is the second of three campgrounds run by the U.S. National Park Service, and is located in the village of Seawall, Maine along route 102A. Beginning with the 2012 season, Seawall campground will no longer be a first come first served campground, all camp sites will be by reservation only. There are 214 camp sites, with some walk in camp sites located further in the woods. Walk in sites are $14 per night, and regular camp sites are $20 per night. In season runs from late May through Sept. 30th. There are no utilities or hook ups, and there is free firewood, when available. There is also wall outlets in the restrooms for charging small devices like cell phones.

WILDWOOD STABLES CAMPGROUND - Acadia National Park
Wildwood Stables campground is the third campground run by the U.S. National Park Service, and Wildwood Stables Campground caters specifically to campers who are bring along horses into the park. Camp sites are $15 per night and $25 per horse stall. Sites are limited, there are only ten available, by reservation only, with no hook ups or utilities. RV's and generators are allowed. TYhe campground is located along the park loop road, watch for signs directly across from the Jordan Pond House.
Wildwood stables also offers visitors to Acadia National Park horse drawn carriage rides through the park.

HADLEY'S POINT CAMPGROUND - Bar Harbor, Maine

Hadley's Point Campground is run by a Christian family, and offers Church Services at the campground along with music. The campground is located just off route 3 as your approaching Bar Harbor, and is well marked with signs. The campground is open from May 15 to Oct. 15th. Camp sites have water, utilities and hook ups. Basic tent sites begin at $25 (no water or hook ups at site). The campground also has free wi-fi service. The campground is also serviced by the free Island Explorer bus system.

KOA Campground is an ocean side campground located on the County road, and is the only campground on the on the West side of the island. They also have their own beach. No RV, no problem - they rent on site airstream travel trailers, as well as lodges, cabins and cottages. This campground, like most on the island, is serviced by the free Island Explorer bus system.
